Mango chutney

Here's a tasty MANGO CHUTNEY recipe that goes well with idlies/dosas ..



Ingredients:

Raw mango - 1 if it is big (or) 2 if it is medium sized (roughly chopped)
Coconut - 1/2 cup grated
Cilantro/coriander leaves - 1/3 cup
Tamarind - a pinch (optional)
Green chilli - 1
Roasted gram dal/Pottu kadalai - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste

Tempering ingredients:

Oil- 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Hing - a pinch
Curry leaves - 1 string

Method:

1. Take all the ingredients into a blender ..Puree it finely by adding water little by little ..
2. After making into a paste, in a separate tadka pan, heat oil, add in the tempering ingredients and pour it over the chutney ..
3. Serve !!!

Mango chutney is ready .. :)

Tastes well with spongy idlies :)
