The ever first recipe of this blog .. MILK KOVA ..
Ingredients:
Milk - 500 ml
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Sugar - 1 cup (240g) + 4 tbsp (for caramelizing)
Method:
1. take a heavy bottom vessel and start boiling the milk ..keep it in low flame ..milk will be thickening but stir it continuously so that it'll not be sticking to the pan ..
2. after it starts to leave the sides add in the 1 cup of sugar to it..
3. In a separate pan, start caramelizing sugar..add a 2 tbsp of ghee and 4 tbsp of sugar in it..the sugar will be dissolving in ghee..it changes to a light brown color..Once the color changes, pour it into the milk pan..
4. the color of the milk will be changing ..
5. Once it changes to solid start and light golden color..switch of the flame..
